This food-friendly blend of Sangiovese (60%), Merlot (35%) and Cabernet Franc marks the first commercial bottling released by this young Walla Walla Valley winery. The brickish-tinged wine brings aromas of sour cherry, plum, brambleberry, leafiness and saddle leather. On the palate, it features Bing cherry and plum, laced with pomegranate acidity and Western serviceberry chalkiness. The wine is available at Walla Walla grocery stores, appears as a glass pour at famed Whitehouse-Crawford Restaurant and via the winery.
