The Walla Walla Valley’s Frenchtown schoolhouse turns 100 this year, and this Lowden landmark takes Syrah and Grenache (20%) from Alder Ridge, Bacchus, Candy Mountain, StoneTree and their estate Seven Hills vineyard for a vibrant bottling of Syrah. Aromas of dark plum, blackberry, blueberry pie and mincemeat spices transitions into a bold, dark and rich drink. Plum and Marionberry flavors are wrapped with dense tannins and delicious pomegranate acidity. This earned a silver medal at the 2015 Seattle Wine and Food Experience Wine Awards.
