The flagship wine for this historic Woodinville brand is a Syrah-based blend from some of the state’s top vineyards, a list of sources that includes Bacchus and Dionysus, Hedges and Stillwater Creek. There’s intensity to the nose with hints of ripe dark plum, black currant and coffee beans with dark chocolate, cola and beet juice. There’s lots of dark purple fruit on the pour with Bing cherry and Marionberry swirling amid bold tannins, backed by a trail of maple syrup. This is the most widely distributed of these wines and are available in Oregon, California, British Columbia, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Ontario and the East Coast.
