Maryhill Winery 2015 Sangiovese, Columbia Valley, $26

Aromas of white pepper and cranberry, combine with flavors of cherry and bright raspberry to deliver this acid-driven, lightly tannic and light-bodied gem of a Sangiovese. This won a gold medal and best of class at the 2018 Cascadia International Wine Competition.

      Craig and Vicki have been securing more contracts for varieties such as Sangiovese and Viognier, and production for this 2015 Columbia Valley Sangio is substantial. Let me pass this along to my friends at Maryhill and see if this also is 100% Sangio.
