By Great Northwest Wine on February 20, 2013
This late-harvest wine is a blend of Viognier and Riesling, and it is a beauty. It offers stunning aromas of lavender, jasmine, pineapple, orange and lemon zest. On the palate, it reveals flavors of crème brûlée, quince paste, caramel, poached apricot and baked apple. It is plenty sweet at 13% residual sugar, and it has ample acidity to back it all up.
