Best Buy! The Miller clan is growing superb grapes north of the Yakima Valley town of Prosser, and Marcus Miller is crafting wines that are not only delicious but also wonderfully affordable. This rosé uses Sangiovese grape that open with aromas of cherry, vanilla, pineapple and peach, followed by mouthwatering flavors of white strawberry, apricot and lemon-lime. It has terrific acidity and a finish that won’t quit. At 0.8% residual sugar, it’s drinks bone dry. Alas, it is sold out at the winery, but you should be able to find a bit out in the marketplace before the 2012 comes out in the coming months.
