Oregon winemaker Ed Fus uses grapes primarily from Washington’s arid Columbia Valley. This Zinfandel includes a bit of Primitivo and Petite Sirah to create a delicious red wine. All of the grapes came from Alder Ridge in the Horse Heaven Hills and StoneTree on the Wahluke Slope. It opens with aromas of cranberry, raspberry and fresh dill, followed by flavors of black raspberry and black pepper. It should pair well with lean meats.
