By Great Northwest Wine on May 5, 2013
Mark Chargin juggles winemaking duties between Desert Wind and Duck Pond wineries, both owned by the Fries family. This Cab uses grapes from estate vineyards on the warm Wahluke Slope. It opens with aromas of plum, clove, cinnamon bark and dark chocolate. On the palate, it reveals flavors of cocoa powder, red raspberry and ripe plum.
