By Great Northwest Wine on May 9, 2013
This Woodinville, Wash., winery is crafting some impressive wines, primarily using Red Mountain grapes. This delicious red blend includes Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. It opens with aromas of purple and blue fruit, including boysenberry and blueberry. On the palate, it opens with bold juicy flavors of cherry, pomegranate, cranberry and dark chocolate. It’s all backed with bright acidity and approachable tannins, making it an approachable red to pair with flank steak or grilled portabella mushrooms.
