Washington Hills 2011 Syrah, Washington, $10

May 17, 2013 by Great Northwest Wine 4 Comments

Washington wineBest Buy! It doesn’t get much better than buying a great wine for a 10-spot. Make this offering from a longtime Washington winery your summer grilling wine. Syrah is great with roasted pork loin, grilled ribeye, buffalo wings, burgers or pizza – making it perfect for outdoor dining. This yummy red opens with aromas of black currant, blackberry jam, red plum and spice, followed by rich flavors of black cherry, walnut and blackberry. Its vibrant acidity and mild tannin makes it approachable now. Buy by the case, and you’ll likely get another 10% off.

Rating: Outstanding!

Production: 3,752 cases

Alcohol: 13.5%

I really love this Syrah and found it at Grocery Outlet for $5.99 a bottle. I have purchased at least 5 cases! Hard to believe I have to pay this much more to get another case….no break in a case????

      Hi, Tami!
What you have is a fantastic wine that was cut from the collection. We actually have 1 case still remaining in our wine room in the Seattle office we could sell you directly and have you pickup (or pay to UPS ship locally). If interested please call 206.267.5252 and ask for Heidi. Thanks.

    Greetings Tamy,
We’re pleased to know we’ve introduced you to a wine that you’ve become a fan of.
Perhaps the manager at your Grocery Outlet can arrange to have another store make arrangements, but in the meantime, let me ask our contact with Precept Wine to see about helping you find some more.
