Firesteed 2010 Pinot Noir, Oregon, $17
By Great Northwest Wine on June 18, 2013
One of Oregon’s most widely available Pinot Noirs, Bryan Croft’s declassified blend stays Salmon Safe with sources that take in Southern Oregon and the Walla Walla Valley. His approach is bright, lively and juicy, opening with cherry and lime peel aromas backed by cedar, a touch of earthiness and light oak notes of graham cracker. Flavors touch on red currant, red raspberry and pie cherry with remarkably low alcohol, making it a clean package that will pair with summertime fare.
