JoieFarm 2012 Re-Think Pink Rosé, Okanagan Valley, $21
By Great Northwest Wine on July 19, 2013
Inspired by the pink wines of the Loire Valley, the gang at one of the Northwest’s finest wineries annuall crafts one of the most delicious and refreshing rosés annually. This is a blend of Pinot Noir, Gamay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Gris. It opens with aromas of nectarine, Golden Delicious apple and honeydew melon. Mouthwatering acidity greets the palate, followed by flavors of apple, minerality, strawberry and nectarine. This is a versatile food wine that will pair with everything from pan-seared scallops to teriyaki burgers.
