Stoller Family Estate 2012 Pinot Noir Rosé, Dundee Hills, $20
By Great Northwest Wine on August 22, 2013
Earlier this year, we conducted a tasting of nearly 100 Northwest rosés. What we learned is Oregon Pinot Noir can result in some of the best rosés anywhere – and here is further evidence. This is a stunningly beautiful pink wine with aromas of white strawberry, apricot, clove and rose petals. On the palate, it provides flavors of rhubarb-strawberry jam, strawberry, cranberry and pomegranate, all backed with bright, lingering acidity. Pair this with chicken, pork, seafood or linguine.
Rating: Outstanding!
Production: 500 cases
Alcohol: 14.1%
