The nose is filled with black cherry, raspberry and blackberry with hints of Big Hunk nougat, chalkboard dust and cedar. It is a mouth-filling drink of Marionberry and black cherry, backed by a balanced structure of golden raspberry acidity and firm tannins. A pinch of black pepper adds to the nice farewell. The 2008 edition of this wine received a Platinum from Wine Press Northwest last year.
