By Great Northwest Wine on November 5, 2013
Beet Road is the home address for this young Walla Walla winery — pronounced as soo-lay — and this marks the fifth vintage for this proprietary blend by Tanya Woodley, a graduate of Walla Walla Community College’s winemaking program. Her even split of Syrah and Merlot offers warm aromas of Bing cherry, Belgian chocolate and toasted sesame, followed by Chukar Cherry, red currant hard maple candy.
