By on November 6, 2013

boomtown-chardonnaly-label-2012Dusted Valley Vintners in Walla Walla continues to grow and refine this brand that’s a partnership with Wahluke Wine Co., in Mattawa. Their expression with Chardonnay features fruit without any hint of wood, starting with a nose of pineapple, dusty pear, dried apple and freshly laundered flannel. The delivery to the palate is akin to biting into an Anjou pear with notes of kiwi fruit, Jonagold apple and mustard seed. Bright acidity gives this tremendous length. They’ve also developed a wide distribution channel for Boomtown, making these screwcaps available in more than 30 states and The District.

Rating: Outstanding!
