Woodinville winemaker Scott Greenberg is showing consistent excellence with his GSM blend, which he names for the cooling winds that swoop through the Rhône Valley down to the Mediterranean Sea. He took Grenache (47%), Syrah (37%), Mourvédre (3%) and a few other pieces from prized vineyards such as Ciel du Cheval, Red Heaven and Hedges for a wine that captures elegant tones of plum, blackberry, black cherry and boysenberry. Its structure features a rich entry, bold fruit and managed tannins that are backed by blueberry acidity.
