Boedecker Cellars 2010 Stewart Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley
Great Northwest Invitational Wine Competition award: Gold medal
Winemakers Stewart and Athena Boedecker used grapes from Carlton Hill and Stoller vineyards to craft a stunningly complex Pinot Noir. Forest floor, a whiff of spice, cedar and cherry combine in an enchanting bouquet. In the mouth, red cherry flavors and a bit of raspberry lead to a lengthy finish that departs with another echo of cedar and spice.
