Great Northwest Invitational Wine Competition award: Gold medal
Winemaker Freddy Arredondo’s latest Syrah already has revealed greatness by winning gold at this summer’s North Central Washington Wine Awards, and it repeats the feat at the Great Northwest Invite. Spice, blackberry, blueberry and cedar aromas open this surprisingly refined Columbia Valley Syrah. In the mouth, it displays blackberry, blueberry, sweet chocolaty tannins, which lead to a mouth-watering, jammy finish.
