Best Buy! Second-generation winemaker Scott Williams and brother-in-law Glen Fukuyama team up for this annual award-winner that’s harvested several weeks after their Dry Riesling and between their Red Mountain estate and family-owned vineyards near the Columbia River town of Finley. Its nose, boosted by Gewürztraminer (7%), carries hints of dried apricot, Honeycrisp apple, nutmeg, orange peel and beeswax. The tasty drink is loaded with more apricot, backed by pink grapefruit, maraschino cherry, honey and tangerine. Its residual sugar (10%) matches the alcohol, making this a delectable pairing with spicy Vietnamese pho or fruit-based, low-sugar desserts.
