Ron Bunnell flashes his skill as a mixologist in Prosser, Wash., with an eclectic and electric blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (46%), Malbec (22%), Syrah (12%), Mourvédre (11%) and Tempranillo from some of Precept Wine’s top vineyards, such as Alder Ridge, Canyon Ranch and Willow Crest. Elegant aromas of black cherry, cassis, plum, tobacco and toast evolve into a fruit-filled, high-acid wine that’s cast with flavors of pomegranate, pie cherry and cranberry. That structure should lend this deliciously with Italian dishes featuring red sauces.
