SageCliffe Vineyard near The Gorge Amphitheater served as the primary source for this blend of Chardonnay (68%), Viognier (22%) and Roussanne. Aromas of Asian pear, dried apricot and freshly shucked corn lead to a rich mouth feel of baked Golden Delicious apple, pear butter and vanilla cream. Ample acidity and pear skin bitterness should make this an ideal foil for seared scallops or steamed mussels.
