This winter, it earned a gold medal at both the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition and the Seattle Wine & Food Experience judging, and it’s clear to see why, starting with gorgeous aromas of orange, pineapple, apricot, starfruit and clove. Bright flavors of tangelo and orange oil lead into nice roundness on the midpalate with honeydew melon, and it’s finished by terrific acidity.
