Best Buy! Folks in Washington state continue to expand their production of Pinot Gris — a 25 percent increase from 2012 to 2013. Here’s a beautiful example of its success as winemaker/grower Jarrod Boyle expands his portfolio. The nose features very floral aromas, backed by peaches, pear, lime zest, tutti frutti, clove and rosewater. It’s tutti frutti on the entry, too, leading into delicious flavors of pear, apple and pineapple. The structure is clean, bright and remarkably dry at 0.2% residual sugar.
