Woodinville winemaker Steven Stuart sources his signature Meritage-style red from Red Mountain, which explains the longevity and power within his blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (76%), Cabernet Franc (10%), Merlot (9%) and Malbec. The nose of blackberry and dark plums also shows off Herbes de Provence, chalkboard dust and toasted walnut. Bold flavors of plum and chocolate-covered pomegranate are met with firm tannins and pie cherry acidity. This received a silver medal at the 2014 Seattle Wine and Food Experience Wine Competition.
