Washington coastal winemaker Dana Roberts reaches into nearby bogs to produce this off-dry sparkling cranberry that’s annually become one of the Pacific Northwest’s most decorated nongrape wines. The frothy bubbles first tickle the nose with hints of fresh red berries, which lead to full-on cranberry flavors, backed by orange zest and raspberry. It’s bright, refreshing and shows delightful balance of acidity and sweetness, which comes across much lower than the listed 12.5% residual sugar. A portion of the proceeds are donated to The Driftwood Theater in Aberdeen, and it not only received a gold medal but also best of class at the 2014 Capital Food & Wine Festival Wine Competition.
