Tacoma winemaker Perry Preston’s late-harvest style red from Willard Farms near Prosser creates a mood with tones of pie cherry, coffee, cinnamon, violets and lilac blossoms. While the residual sugar is listed at nearly 6%, a burst of pomegranate acidity creates a blast of cleansing acidity. Suggested pairings are baklava and a cheese plate.
