Earlier this year, French customs officials reported that exports of rosé to the U.S. have increased by at least 10 percent each year for 10 straight years, but here’s one made in the Provence style using Grenache from the Frenchman Hills of Washington state. The nose sings with hints of beautiful cherry blossoms, cotton candy, Rainier cherry and baking spices. Its profile is very distinctive and dry with flavors of white strawberry, dried cranberry and blood orange with a pinch of white pepper. Pick this up at their tasting rooms in Woodinville and on Ellensburg’s Pearl Street.
