Anam Cara Cellars 2011 Nicholas Estate Pinot Noir, Chehalem Mountains, $32
All five blocks from Nick and Sheila Nicholas’ certified L.I.V.E. estate in the hills above Newberg, Ore., contribute to this production off the 25 acres of Pinot Noir they began planting in 2001. This cooler vintage helped make for a nose of dusty strawberry, cherry juice, poached plum and earthiness. The clean, bright drink is one of red plum, dried cherry and strawberry. And its elegant structure with low alcohol and modest tannins makes this an ideal match for suggested pairings with Beef Stroganoff, grilled salmon, lamb, lasagna, pork tenderloin, tomato-based stews or wild mushroom risotto.

Scott, we do this to help spotlight each wine. Sorry you gave up so early and clicking the arrow was a burden. You missed out on learning about some great wines.
