This bottling marks the 10th commercial vintage for Matthew Compton, former vineyard manager for Oregon State University and Benton-Lane who focuses on certified sustainable and SalmonSafe vineyards, screwcaps and fruit-forward wines. Deerhaven, Miracle, SweetEarth, Miracle and Newton Creek vineyards were in the mix for this brightly toned offering that starts with kiwi fruit, Granny Smith apple, lime peel, slate and lemongrass. The entry is crisp and mouthwatering with Asian pear, starfruit and elderflowers with Granny Smith apple peel in the finish.
