Amy Alvarez-Wampfler, a graduate of the University of Ste. Michelle, creates about 2,000 cases a year at this boutique Walla Walla winery, but makes just a tiny amount of rosé from this beautiful vineyard near Mill Creek. An engaging color and aromas of strawberry cheesecake, cherry and vanilla lead to a bright drink featuring flavors that hint at strawberry, watermelon and vanilla cream. It’s a charming summer deck rosé and earned a silver medal at the 2014 Walla Walla Valley Wine Competition.
