The inaugural vintage from this Woodinville, Wash., winery has produced solid wines across the five-release portfolio of Bill Grassie in nearby Fall City. His Meritage-style blend of Merlot (50%), Cabernet Sauvignon (25%), Cabernet Franc (24%) and Petit Verdot presents aromas of black cherry, blackberry, cassis, cola and spice, followed by flavors of boysenberry, blueberry, raspberry and Montmorency cherry, backed by a touch of crushed walnut. His entire lineup is available at Jak’s Grill in Issaquah.
