Omero Cellars 2011 Pinot Noir, Ribbon Ridge, $38
By Great Northwest Wine on September 22, 2014
The Pacific Northwest’s small American Viticultural Area produces some of the region’s top Pinot Noir, and Sarah Cabot built this with a suave approach. Expressive oak and ripe fruit creates aromas of cherry, red currant and caramel with cocoa powder, cinnamon dust and vanilla. Fresh cranberries, dried red cherry and rhubarb flavors make for a rich entry backed by mild tannins and good acidity.
Rating: Outstanding!
Production: 600 cases
Alcohol: 12.5%
