Precept CEO Andrew Browne developed his own brand as a tribute to his father, a Ivy League grad who served in World War II and the Korean War on his way to a career in law. William Bitner Browne loved the wines of Bordeaux, and he would have approved of John Freeman’s high-class work with this traditional blending grape from Canyon Vineyard Ranch and Summit View vineyards. It opens with expressive aromas of plum sauce, black cherry, blackberry, orange zest and Baker’s chocolate, followed by flavors of purple plum and dark cherry. Mid-palate brightness from boysenberry and pomegranate combines with sturdy tannins to give it good length.
