This Eugene-area winery celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2014, and here’s its everyday Pinot Noir that’s loaded with food-friendly acidity. The nose opens with freshly cut cedar in front of black cherry, plum, Western serviceberry and bittersweet chocolate notes. High-toned red fruit reminiscent of Bing cherry, red currant and pomegranate are met by modest tannins.
