This Rickreall, Ore., winery continues to pay homage to this underappreciated white grape from Burgundy, and Joe Wright’s harvest on Oct. 6 from Truffle Hill helped preserve so much acidity that it could be approached as if it is a Pinot Gris. Aromas of apple blossom, Bosc pear and white pepper transition easily into bright and crisp flavors of Asian pear, lemon and Granny Smith apple.
