Kitsap Peninsula winemakers Frank Reale and Gary Sleeger opted to bottle on its own this traditional blending variety, which they sourced from Konnowac Vineyards — an established Yakima Valley site valued by some of the state’s smallest wineries. Aromas of dark boysenberry and pomegranate and coffee lead to a mouthfilling drink of blueberry, Montmorency cherry, tea leaves and slate. Enjoy with well-marbled meats or pork belly.
