By Great Northwest Wine on January 13, 2015
This wine is singing at a perfect pitch with lovely and complex aromas of peach, apricot, pineapple, joined by Circus Peanut candy, jasmine and shortbread. Inside, there’s a clean and bright entry with the variety’s telltale orange Creamsicle flavor, backed by white peach and dusty pear. It offers juicy acidity, a touch of minerality and even a bit of tannin. Last week, this same wine — which received a gold medal at the 2014 Seattle Wine Awards — earned a gold medal at the 2015 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition in Sonoma.
