Indian Creek Winery 2010 Ruby Dahlia Dessert Wine, Snake River Valley, $22
By Great Northwest Wine on February 6, 2015
The Stowe family continues to grow the following for its fortified program, and Cabernet Sauvignon plays a role in this lithe and lip-smacking after-dinner libation. Aromas of poached plum, Tootsie Roll and baked brownie expand on the palate, offering up flavors of cherry jam, blackberry and Raisinet. The structure of acidity, moderated alcohol and sweetness (7.5% residual sugar) will appeal to new red wine drinkers because of its soft approach and near absence of textured tannin.
