Martin-Scott Winery 2013 Needlerock Vineyard Pinot Gris, Columbia Valley, $14
By Great Northwest Wine on March 7, 2015
Best Buy! Cool-climate varieties were planted near the winery in East Wenatchee, Wash., barely more than a tee shot from Highlander Golf Course, and this bottling is redolent of baked pear, caramel apple, peach blossom and cinnamon. The entry to the palate is rounded with some sweetness, ample acidity and a finish of apricot.
