cascade-ridge-chardonnay-nv-bottleSeattle-based Metropolitan Market takes a page from the annals of Columbia Winery with this label, which is named for what was once a sister winery of the historic property in Woodinville. From this warm vintage, they offer their shoppers a Chardonnay that opens with aromas of toasted apple pie, pineapple, cherry blossom and corn silk. It’s followed by a rich structure and flavors of baked pear, brioche and melon, capped by lemon custard and a hint of minerality.
