Alsace native Jean Claude Beck continues his recent string of success for Woodinville vintners Bijal and Sinead Shah with this stunning Cabernet Sauvginon that seems to just now hitting its stride. Aromas of dark plum and sexy barrel notes of vanilla bean, brown sugar and maple lead into supple and round flavors of black cherry and plum sauce. The tannin structure offers pleasing grip, and that’s supported by lingering acidity, elegant spice and note of bay leaf combine to give this great length. It merited a gold medal at the 2015 Seattle Wine and Food Experience Wine Awards.
