One of Woodinville’s busiest vintners continues to build this blend around Chardonnay (41%), but this time Marsanne (26%) leads the background of the Rhône varieties that play roles as Roussanne (18%) and Viognier. Aromas of caramel corn, Golden Delicious apple, pear and sweet lemon push their way on to the palate, leading with juicy and ripe white orchard fruit. There’s great acidity up front, and the midpalate and finish are nicely rounded. It earned a gold medal at the 2015 Seattle Wine and Food Experience Wine Awards.
