The majority of bottlings by Woodinville vintner Robert Ramsay Harris focus on Rhone varieties and work in the Horse Heaven Hills by McKinley Springs and Snipes Mountain’s Upland Vineyard. This blend of Mourvèdre (65%), Grenache (23%) and Cinsault incorporates both sites for a wine with aromas of red currant, Montmorency cherry, moist earth, saddle leather and charcoal. There’s a match on the palate with bright acidity and light tannins. Harris suggests serving this with fare influenced by Morocco or Spain.
