One Wines 2014 Destiny Ridge Vineyard One White Wine, Horse Heaven Hills, $25
By Great Northwest Wine on May 1, 2015
Chelan contractor Greg Cowell and his wife, Jo, opened their downtown tasting room and established a delicious relationship with Horse Heaven Hills grower/winemaker Jarrod Boyle of Alexandria Nicole Cellars fame. This Pinot Gris they collaborated on is beautiful from start to finish with aromas of rosewater, peach blossom, apricot, orange and a pear drizzled with honey. The crisp palate brings almost a surfeit of orchard fruit flavors of peach, apricot and pear within an elegant and luscious structure.
