Van Duzer Vineyards 2014 Pinot Noir Rosé, Willamette Valley, $18
By Great Northwest Wine on May 26, 2015
University of Dijon graduate Florent-Pierre Merlier grew up in Burgundy and crafting a delicious rosé from estate Pinot Noir would seem to come naturally. Pretty and inviting aromas of pink strawberry and raspberry include orange zest, rose petal and vanilla bean. Inside, it comes with clean, bright, cherry and elegant high-toned red fruit flavors which are beautiful from start through the finish of Ruby Red grapefruit pith. Look for this to be released in July at the Dallas, Ore., tasting room.
