Dayton, Ore., winemaker Jim Seufert sources this clone 667 Pinot Noir off nearby Stoller Vineards, and his expression is indicative of high-toned red fruit from Dundee Hills fruit in a cool vintage. It’s laced with tones of Rainier cherry, cranberry, sweet black currant, clove and white pepper. Its elegant structure and bright acidity lends it to suggested pairings that ange from rhubarb chutney over lamb, Chanterelle Mushroom Sauté and cranberry covered duck.
