One of the North Willamette Valley’s largest productions of Pinot Gris — the Ponzi family’s 36th release — hails from a dozen vineyards including four estate plantings in the Chehalem Mountains with those likes of Dion, Gemini, Kraemer, Linda Vista, Merten, Wahle, Walnut Ridge, Wapato and Zenith. This features tones of gooseberry pie, Granny Smith apple, lemongrass, creamed corn and lime, which are balanced by a blast of Mandarin orange acidity.
