Tsillan Cellars 2012 Estate Malbec, Lake Chelan, $32
By Great Northwest Wine on August 1, 2015
Lake Chelan winemaker Shane Collins works with more than a dozen varieties from Dr. Bob Jankelson’s scenic vineyard that flanks the southern bank of Lake Chelan, and Malbec represents one of the four red Bordeaux grapes grown on the estate. Their latest bottling is a mouth-filling expression featuring tones of dark plum, pomegranate, black licorice and white pepper. Enjoy it at the on-premise Sorrento’s Ristorante with the Gorgonzola Burger.
