This Walla Walla brand pays tribute to Super Tuscan-style wines of Italy with this blend of Sangiovese (57%) and Cabernet Sauvignon from Walla Walla Valley sites Duggar Creek and TERO’s estate Windrow with Cab backing from Andrews Horse Heaven Vineyard. Aromas of ripe strawberry, black cherry and vanilla lead to a big entry of dark strawberry, blackberry and toast framed by a juicy midpalate of blueberry and backed by dusty tannins. This merited a silver medal at the third annual Walla Walla Valley Wine Competition, and it is available at the TERO downtown tasting room in the Marcus Whitman Hotel.
